Packages
The package split keeps the frontend shell, server runtime and optional plugins separate.
@schildw3rk/shell
Frontend component runtime: local(), derive(), watch(), commit(), attach(), wake() and detach(). Shell also owns .shell compilation targets and SSR wake markers.
@schildw3rk/shield
Backend framework: resources, services, models, features, plugins, page payloads, head/cache/assets, app.start(), Node adapter and security defaults.
@schildw3rk/vite
Vite integration: Shell compiler plugin, generated Shell declaration files, view metadata, and Vite manifest asset helpers. Shield stays independent from Vite.
@schildw3rk/shield-csrf
CSRF plugin for server-side form mutations. It creates and validates tokens without turning forms into RPC calls.
@schildw3rk/shield-flash
Flash messages for redirect-driven flows. The package includes native custom elements so styling can stay CSS-token based and framework-neutral.
@schildw3rk/shield-dev
Development error pages and client overlay helpers. Useful while building server-first apps because request-time errors stay visible.
